Another FREE workshop to assist local businesses was held on 23 March thanks to a joint initiative between the Mundaring Chamber of Commerce, Shire of Mundaring and Business Station Inc.
LOCAL businesses in the Shire of Mundaring celebrated Harmony Day with the community this year in a number of different ways.
The colour orange was used to celebrate Harmony Day, celebrations included staff wearing orange clothing, orange balloons to decorate a premises and orange themes in shop windows.
Held every year on 21 March, Harmony Day is a celebration of Australia’s cultural diversity – a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home.
The message of Harmony Day is ‘everyone belongs’. The day aims to engage people to participate in their community, respect cultural and religious diversity and foster a sense of belonging for everyone.
The Visitor Centre in the Shire of Mundaring is about to showcase some of the lesser known attractions and amazing experiences available in this stunning pocket of WA.
Working with local production company, Skyworks WA, a unique range of aerial and street footage has been captured to form a series of 30 second themed videos known as Perth Hills Mundaring Naturally.
Each provides a glimpse into a range of different experiences and spectacular locations within the Shire, all of which contribute to its village style ambience and charm.
