- My name is Ronald Colijn and my super power is bucket loads of passion for small business.
- Why did you join the Chamber of Commerce?
- For years I have been saying that small business is fantastic, but also tough. Sometimes you are “alone at the top” (even if YOU are the business) and sometimes its just hard.
- I wanted to make a difference and help other people, not just talk about, actually DO somebody about it!
- What is your position in the chamber and how long have you done this?
- I am the Vice President and just a baby, doing this for 4 months and loving it!
- What’s the name of your business and why should people love it as much as you do?
- I have 2 businesses, the famous Cafe Mojo Mundaring which I run with my wife (cafe, catering and spaces for hire).
- I am also the “website wizard of oz” and help small businesses with their online presence through websites and social media
- Where can people find you—online, offline, or somewhere cool in between?
- I am an avid wood worker and turner so most off time you will find me in my shed.
- I love riding my motorbikes (classics).
- I love chilling and camping in the bush with my wife.
- What’s one quirky piece of advice you’d give to new business owners?
- Work together, ask for advice, there are so many proud business owners who have done this before you, ASK for help! “your network is your net worth”?
- Reveal one personal secret which people would love about you.
- I used to be a life guard in the North See, LOVE rough seas and getting cold for a good cause!
