The Mundaring Chamber of Commerce

Commitee Nomination Form

COMMITTEE NOMINATION INFORMATION

We invite you, as a member of the Mundaring Chamber of Commerce, to submit a nomination to join the Chamber Committee. You can nominate for one specified position of office holder (Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary) or to be a Committee Member, in other words, you can’t nominate for multiple positions.

Committee meetings are generally held monthly in Mundaring, with the meeting day determined by the incoming Committee. There is usually no meeting in January.

For the past year, the monthly committee meetings were on the third Wednesday of each month. The incoming Committee will discuss and vote on the most suitable day of the month for the new committee members.

Committee members are expected to attend meetings regularly. To ensure continuity, members are encouraged to attend at least eight meetings each year and to notify the Chair or Secretary if they are unable to attend.

The Chamber is a not-for-profit organisation run by members, and as such, we are seeking enthusiastic business owners and professionals who can donate a few hours most months to help deliver Chamber initiatives. Without the valued contribution from committee members, the Chamber will not be able to achieve its Vision, Mission or Objects.
